Castle Forum × Octopus Energy: The Future of Business

The first Castle Forum event of 2026 brought together leading experts for a panel discussion and audience dialogue on how business can be a force for good at a time of systemic crisis and short-term political pressure. The discussion explored what credible positive impact looks like in practice, and what it takes to protect purpose when the context shifts. The evening also marked the relaunch of the Castle Debates as Castle Forum, and the first event held following the passing of our founder, Pamela Castle OBE.

  • This session explored the future of business through the lens of purpose, impact and resilience. Discussion focused on how businesses can deliver genuine societal value while remaining commercially successful, and what structural, cultural and political conditions support or undermine that ambition.
